Essential Skills of Leadership

This module builds the foundation for helping your team leaders align team members with your organization's strategic objectives. Essential Skills of Leadership teaches team leaders how to maintain team members' self-esteem, focus on behavior, and encourage others to commit themselves to common goals.

Essential Skills of Communicating

Communicating effectively is the key to implementing good management skills. In this module, your team leaders learn to create a climate of open communication, design clear, concise messages, recognize nonverbal cues, probe for clarification, and how to confirm another person's understanding of the issues.

In the workplace, solving problems is not only addressing issues and problems as they arise but also involves looking at the way things are currently being done to find better ways of doing them. The major problem encountered in solving problems occurs when the root cause is not properly defined or identified. In the rush to finish a project, people often jump to conclusions and take action on the first solution that appears when most times there are multiple solutions. Determining the best solution requires a problem solving process.
